What information do we collect from you?

Hera Yachting collects personally identifiable information (PI) about you that you voluntarily provide. PI includes information that can identify you as a specific individual, such as your name, phone number, or e-mail address. Although you are required to register as a member of Hera Yachting in order to have access to specific data or book a charter on-line, many areas of hera-yachting.com can be accessed without providing any PI.

On all hera-yachting.com pages that collect PI, we specifically describe what information is required in order to provide you with the product or service you have requested.

Member’s area information

Hera Yachting collects your e-mail address, password, full mailing address, phone numbers and some information regarding your preferences as a charter guest or yacht owner when you register to our member’s area.

Yacht charter reservation

Hera Yachting collects the last name, first name and email address of the credit card holder who wishes to pay a yacht charter on-line. We however do not collect credit card information (including card number, card type, cardholder name, and expiration date) since this information is dealt with by our banking partner – Crédit Foncier de Monaco (Groupe Crédit Agricole), through the e-transactions system.

Yacht Charter details

When you book a charter on hera-yachting.com, we may collect information about your Charter Preferences, including your travel arrangements, preferred activities, food preferences, beverage preferences, allergies, etc… This information is stored in the “Charter Guest” section (coming soon)

When someone other than yourself is accompanying you on your yacht charter, we may collect PI and travel preferences about that individual. You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing Hera Yachting with their full names, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and Charter Preferences, as they will be unable to directly access our systems to view or change any information you provide on their behalf.

Yacht Charter request

On hera-yachting.com, you can submit a request for a yacht charter by selecting a preferred yacht, location and dates and filling in a contact form. By submitting the form, you do not commit to purchasing a yacht charter. Information collected by Hera Yachting when you submit a request may include your full name, e-mail address, street address, city, zip code, country of residence and phone numbers.

Hera Yachting has signed partnerships with third parties to offer our members and site visitors a variety of products and services. All services throughout hera-yachting.com that are provided by a third-party partner are described as such. Although we only work with reputable and serious companies, our partners may have different privacy policies than Hera Yachting. Cookies and other Web technologies

You do not provide this information – it is collected automatically as a means of supporting your visit to our site. This cookie does not contain any PI. Be advised that, by refusing to accept a cookie, you will not be able to access many travel services and planning tools offered by hera-yachting.com.

(Coming soon) When you access the “Charter Guest” section of the hera-yachting.com web site or book a charter, Hera Yachting requires you to sign in as a member, using your e-mail address and password. Once you sign in as an Hera Yachting member, we record your e-mail address in the cookie file on your computer. Your e-mail address is stored in the cookie file as encrypted data, so no one can view the information it contains by obtaining unauthorized access to your computer. Permanent cookie files remain on your computer’s hard drive until you manually delete the file.

Computer information

Hera-yachting.com collects certain technical information from your computer each time you request a page during a visit to hera-yachting.com. This information is collected from your computer’s Web browser to enhance your experience on our site and may include your IP address, operating system, Web browser software (e.g., Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer), screen resolution, and referrer Web site.

Application to the Hera Yachting member’s area

When you apply to the Hera Yachting member’s area, we use your PI to contact you by phone or e-mail and communicate our membership rules.

Purchasing a yacht charter, a yacht or a service

Information collected when you complete your charter profile is used to confirm and process your booking. In addition, information collected from you when you purchase a yacht charter is used to bill your credit card and deliver your travel documents, either electronically or through the mail.

Marketing notifications

As a registered Hera Yachting member, you may receive e-mails from us about special offers, Industry news, trip information, or other travel opportunities on hera-yachting.com and its marketing partners. We may also use your e-mail address or telephone number to contact you about changes to your purchased yacht charter.

You may also receive postal mail notifications from us about special offers, Industry news, trip information, or other travel opportunities and its marketing partners. E-mail or postal marketing notifications containing offers for our marketing partners will be sent by Hera Yachting on our partners’ behalf.

Responses to your questions or suggestions

We will use your e-mail address or telephone number to respond when you submit a question or suggestion, or request assistance when accessing your account.

Improving the quality of your visit to our site

We collect certain information based on your navigation of our site in order to better understand and serve our guests. This data allows us to streamline your ability to navigate the site and develop featured programs and content that will be of interest to our members and site visitors. No PI is collected unless you explicitly provide it.

Sharing your information

Hera Yachting does not sell or rent your PI to anyone.

Service providers

To provide and process the services you request, Hera Yachting shares your PI with our authorized service providers or companies within the Hera Martello Group that perform certain services or functions on our behalf. We only share information about yacht charters either reserved or purchased with Hera Yachting.

Hera Yachting may contract a reputable third party to facilitate the distribution of survey, promotion, or sweepstakes programs. Upon completion of these projects, all information is returned to Hera Yachting.

Our obligations

Hera Yachting may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our yacht charter products or services. Hera Yachting may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Hera Yachting’s interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others. In addition, it may be necessary for Hera Yachting to provide customer information to third parties, such as credit card companies, for the purpose of resolving disputes that arise in the normal course of business.

There are several places throughout hera-yachting.com that may link you to other Web sites that do not operate under hera-yachting.com’s information privacy practices. When you click through to these Web sites, Hera-yachting.com’s information privacy practices no longer apply. The “Charter Guest” Section on hera-yachting.com allows charter guest members to view and change their account settings. You can update your full name, e-mail address, password, full address, add new guests and delete existing guests from each booking with Hera Yachting; update or correct names, phone numbers, passport information, and emergency contacts for guests associated with each yacht charter; and update your charter preferences.

Apply to the Hera Yachting member’s area

When you apply to the Hera Yachting member’s area, you will receive an “Introduction to Hera Yachting” e-mail.

Send a yacht charter, yacht purchase request or request for a service

When you send a request for a yacht charter, yacht purchase, service, pre-book a charter or place an option, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with the details of your request (i.e. yacht model, cruising area, start and end dates, etc…)

Purchase or cancel a yacht charter

Each time you purchase a yacht charter through Hera Yachting, yacht purchase request or request for a service or change or cancel a confirmed travel reservation, you will receive confirmation of your booking via e-mail. In the event that your travel plans are disrupted because of mechanical, weather, or carrier business conditions, Hera Yachting may contact you to inform you of these disruptions and help you make alternative travel arrangements.

Contact Hera Yachting with questions/suggestions

When you request assistance with viewing your itinerary, logging on to the hera-yachting.com web site, or accessing your account, we will respond to you via e-mail or telephone.

Protecting your information

We want our members and site visitors to feel confident about using hera-yachting.com to plan and purchase their yacht charter, so we are committed to protecting the information we collect. Hera Yachting has implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Currently, hera-yachting.com only stores the information you provide when registering to have access to our member’s area, sending a request for a yacht charter, yacht sales or a service.

Our systems are configured with data encryption, or scrambling, technologies, and industry-standard firewalls.
